Our dedicated team of Chartered and HCPC registered  Physiotherapists are highly skilled in the treatment of  wide range of conditions Including musculoskeletal, rheumatological, vestibular and more recently the introduction of the management of lymphoedema.

All of our team have vast experience in both the NHS and private sector,  we work closely with several large employers to provide occupational health physiotherapy. We are dedicated to providing you with the highest level of care and as a result require our staff to continually update their skills and knowledge.

All staff are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy which is the professional body ensuring regulation of standards of care.


Tracey Thompson

Clinic director and lead physiotherapist

Tracey qualified from Liverpool School of Physiotherapy in 1992. She has extensive experience in the NHS and private sector and currently works as an Advanced Musculoskeletal Practitioner within the NHS. She has a special interest in spinal pain and also rheumatology conditions. Tracey has worked with amateur rugby league teams over the years and has close links with a local tennis club and has developed an interest in sporting shoulders. Tracey has worked as a university lecturer and is keen to ensure that patients receive optimum care that is evidence based. 


Laura Neumann

Laura qualified as a physiotherapist in 2012 with the BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Salford. She has worked in private practice since qualifying and has a special interest in women's health, vestibular rehabilitation and sporting injuries. Laura is in the process of completing her specialist lymphoedema training and will soon be able to offer a bespoke programme to all lymphoedema patients. Her experience has allowed her to gain a diverse skill set and she enjoys using a wide variety of treatments for her patients. She is qualified in sports massage, acupuncture, Pilates and vestibular rehabilitation. Laura is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and works closely with them to ensure a high standard of care.


Stephanie Traynor

Steph qualified from from The University of Salford with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and is a highly experienced physiotherapist working in both the NHS and private sector/ Steph has wide experience including elderly care, vestibular rehabilitation and musculoskeletal conditions. Steph is trained in Pilates and offers one to one sessions and also runs group sessions. Steph is trained in Women's health physiotherapy and offers this service at both our St Helens and Penketh clinics.


Caoilfhionn  Doherty

Caoilfhionn qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2019 from Manchester Metropolitan University. She is currently working in both NHS and private practice, working closely with orthopaedic patients, specialising in rehabilitation after both elective and trauma surgeries along with fracture rehabilitation. She also has previous experience treating various rheumatology conditions. She is devoted to providing high standards of treatment to include sports injuries, sports massage and Pilates.  She is trained to offer vestibular rehabilitation and has a special interest in women’s health. Caoilfhionn will soon be offering a Mummy MOT service for both pre and postal natal problems.

 


Beverly McAleavy

Bev is our administrator, she provides first contact with patients and works hard to ensure the smooth running of both clinics. She is always willing to help patients and her bubbly personality makes her  very popular with our patients!
